PAINTING & REFINISHING YOUR WHEEL ...

Once the tyre is removed a "re-paint" includes the repair of Gutter Marks, Chips and Scratches etc.  The wheel is fully repainted - this includes totally around and past the tyre beads to ensure against any damage from tyre fitting and flaking.

To paint a wheel, the following process may occur:

- Clean and Sand bead lip.

- Weld and Machine all chips and gutter scrapes/No bog or fillers to fall out later

- Pressure wash wheel front and back.

- Etch and prime completely and bake.

- Guide Coat and wet rub wheel for basecoat.

- Paint basecoat front to back.

- Finally 2 coats of clear front to back to seal the wheel completely and bake.

All of our paint work on the wheels is completed in high quality DUPONT 2Pac baked finishes.  We also paint Mirror Chrome and Shadow Chrome and have mastered the process!
